SIEG Super X1L Mill (Long Table)

We have discontinued the short table Super X1 Mill and replaced it with the Super X1L Mill (Long Table). The table on the Super X1L is 160mm longer and therefore quite different to all other X1 or Super X1 Mills.

Arc Preparation Service

Fully Prepared Machines
These machines are stripped, de-greased, re-assembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested by our own skilled engineers. Only once a machine is fully prepared will it be passed for collection or delivery. This means you can start using the machine straight away, confident in the knowledge that the machine is fully operational. You are also welcome to visit our workshop to see your own machine being prepared.

Factory Assembled
These are the same machines only NO preparation work has been carried out by us. Upon delivery, we recommend that the machine be stripped, cleaned (including removing any casting dust or other contamination from inside the machine), adjusted, lubricated and tested before use. Only experienced engineers should undertake this work.

Please Note: We regret that we are currently unable to accept orders for ARC Preparation. Due to the popularity of our preparation service, we will be expanding our workshop facilities over the next few weeks with the aim of providing an improved service.

Precision Tool Vices

Made from high quality alloy steel. Hardened and precision ground for parallelism and squareness to a high finish.

How it Works

The angled locking screw design completely eliminates jaw lift in these vices.
The locking screw pulls on a T-bar which is engaged in a rack machined into the body of the vice. (see below)

The rack allows the movable jaw to be re-positioned whilst keeping the locking screw at an optimum angle.
