Dismantling of a Super X3 Spindle for refurbishment can be a difficult process.
During the dismantling process, there is a high probability that the taper roller bearing 32907 is likely to get damaged. This is due to the spindle assembly design. It is therefore recommended that this bearing be changed when carrying out any refurbishment of the Super X3 Spindle assembly, along with thrust ball bearing 51106, which could also be effected.
During the refurbishment process, the assembly is dismantled, cleaned, greased with Molyslip HSB, and a small modification made to the flange of the inner spindle to assist with future dismantling. It is then re-assembled, test run and adjustments made.
Notes:
- As usual, carriage to most U.K. destinations is based on order value.
- For overseas orders, the website ordering system will calculate carriage automatically, based on your location.
- If you are ordering on-line, you will need to inform us via separate email, the order number (from your order confirmation email), and details of how you have sent the spindle (with courier tracking number), so we can look out for its arrival.
- The spindle assembly should be sent to us, at your cost. We are unable to take responsibility for any loss or damage to the assembly, en-route to us.
Note: If there are any other parts which need to be replaced, this will be chargeable. Before we replace any such parts, we will seek your approval. Should you decide not to proceed at that time, we will be happy to return the assembly to you without making any changes, at a one off handling and carriage cost of GB£15.00 inc.VAT, to most U.K. destinations.
