Fitting
Fix one end of the bar using the 2 holes provided to a suitable bracket mounted on the machine.
The carriage is fixed to another bracket using the threaded holes in the back of the carriage.
No brackets are provided - you have to fabricate your own to suit your machine.
If necessary, the bar can be cut to the required length.
Note: Some bars have a "convenient" conversion table stuck to the back of the carriage obscuring the fixing holes. This needs to be peeled off before use!
Also Note: These products are not swarf or coolant proof. Adequate guarding should be considered to avoid damage to the scales.
