ABS, Pre+ and Pre- Buttons
  • ABS Button: Switches between Absolute and Incremental modes.
  • Press Zero in Absolute mode (when INC is not displayed) to set absolute zero in the display.
  • Press ABS (INC is displayed) to set a temporary zero at your current position allowing you to measure from that point.
  • Press ABS again to return to absolute mode and display your position relative to the absolute zero you previously set.
  • Pre+ and Pre- Buttons: These buttons allow you to preset a target measurement e.g. +1.04mm or -1.04mm. Once set, you can then move the preset distance down (or up) to zero.
